Judith L. Bomster

Judith L. Bomster is a partner of Butenhof & Bomster, PC, and practices in the areas of Trusts and Estate Planning, Special Needs Trusts and Elder Law. Prior to joining the New Hampshire Bar in 2004, Judith practiced in Rhode Island with Adler, Pollock & Sheehan, P.C., where she focused on counseling clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and public company disclosures. Her experience in managing business transactions enhances her ability to identify clients' short and long-term goals, and anticipate the benefits and consequences of various estate planning designs. The complexity of Judith's estate and special needs planning practice is well served by her strong commitment to professional ethics and her unwavering dedication to providing the highest quality representation to the firm's clients.

Judith is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and a member of the Board of Directors of New Hampshire NAELA Chapter (2010-2013). She also is an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Ethics Committee, the New Hampshire Bar Association's Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate section, and the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council.

Judith is an affiliate member of the Special Needs Alliance (SNA), a national, invitation-only network of lawyers dedicated to Disability and Public Benefits Law. Judith's training and affiliation with special needs trust planners enables her to assist clients in planning for the future care needs of individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities by tailoring estate plans to ensure long-term financial security for their loved ones.

Judith received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhode Island College in 1992, and in 2000, she earned her J. D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire (n/k/a UNH School of Law), graduating fourth in her class (equivalent to magna cum laude). While at Pierce Law, Judith interned as a law clerk with the New Hampshire Supreme Court and worked as a student attorney with the New Hampshire Appellate Defender's Office. Judith is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
