Ann N. Butenhof, Esquire, CELA® practices in the areas of elder law, estate planning, special needs trusts, probate and trust administration, and guardianships. Ann is a member of a number of organizations including the Special Needs Alliance, the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), New Hampshire Estate Planning Council and the New Hampshire chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). She has been recognized by her peers for many years as one of New Hampshire’s Top Lawyers as listed in the New Hampshire Magazine, Best Lawyers in America and SuperLawyers of New England, and was recognized as lawyer of the year in the area of elder law by New Hampshire magazine in 2014, 2017 and 2022. She earned her B.A. degree from Lake Forest College, and a joint degree in law and social work from Case Western Reserve University. Ann is one of four attorneys in the state who has received a Certification as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA) from the National Elder Law Foundation and she also has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Ann has been recognized as a Lawyer of the Year by US News & World Report’s Best Lawyers 2022.
